If you search for “role models” on Google, you’ll find 10 dead scientists, philosophers and politicians - and maybe Michael Jordan. Most of the dead folk aren’t relevant and Michael Jordan is, well, Michael Jordan.

So if you’re looking for someone to throw on your vision board, we’ve handpicked a couple of current, classy and cultured men we can all aspire to be like.

Barack Obama

A man who needs no introduction. As the first black president and a distinguished author and speaker, he inspired a nation with hope of a better, fairer future.

Elon Musk

As if revolutionizing the way we think about energy wasn’t enough, Elon sent the first commercial vehicle to space in 2012. And to one-up that, in 2017, his company SpaceX built and successfully launched the first rocket made from recycled, reusable materials. Our bet? Elon Musk will make space travel accessible to more than just the “1%” in his lifetime.

Neil deGrasse Tyson

Often called “The man who killed pluto,” Neil is an astrophysicist devoted to making science, space and the earth accessible for the average person. He’s famous for breaking down difficult concepts, making him the most sought-after celebrity science expert in the world.

LeBron James

LeBron James is the MVP on the court and off. An incredible athlete, he is an inspiration for youths who want to better their lives. His education fund has sent over 4,000 kids to university.

Gary Vaynerchuck

Gary V understands commerce very well.  As a kid, he earned thousands of dollars trading baseball cards - but today he is best known in the digital marketing and social media space. He predicted the rise of eCommerce and content marketing before it was a thing, and ran with it. Today, his company VaynerMedia runs social media strategies for Fortune 500 companies.

Keaunu Reeves

Despite a lot of tragedy, including the death of his daughter, girlfriend, and sister, he continues to be an incredible human, actor and influential person. While being a superstar, he’s also secretly a generous philanthropist. He hasn’t even claimed credit for most of the charitable foundations he’s funded.
